What Structural Correction Focuses On
Optimus Spine & Posture is a structural correction and posture rehabilitation practice. The question we ask first is not "where does it hurt?" but "what is this spine measurably doing, and is that changing?"
Posture is measured against normal reference values, function is tested, and X-rays are taken only when clinically indicated. Care, when it is recommended, is built from those findings and checked against them at progress examinations.

Not every symptom has a structural cause, and some presentations need medical assessment first: progressive weakness or numbness, loss of bladder or bowel control, unexplained weight loss, fever with back pain, or symptoms after a significant injury. How the Consultation Works
The first step is a complimentary 15-minute structural consultation with Dr. Bury: a private conversation about your concerns, your goals, previous care and whether this office is an appropriate fit. It does not include an examination, imaging or treatment, and nothing is booked beyond it unless you decide. A brief complimentary phone conversation may be available for patients who want to discuss whether traveling for an in-person examination is appropriate. It does not replace a physical examination, establish a diagnosis, or include structural measurements.
How Recommendations Are Developed
If an examination is appropriate, the New Patient Structural Examination is scheduled as a separate paid service and the fee is explained first. When scheduling and clinical circumstances allow, it can follow the consultation on the same day.
The examination looks at what your symptoms are and are not consistent with: orthopedic, neurological and functional testing, posture measured in millimeters, and X-rays only when clinically warranted.
Your findings are reviewed at the Patient Recommendation Conference, the separate visit where our recommendations, the proposed plan and the fees are explained before you agree to anything.
If structural correction is appropriate, the plan is individualized: specific corrective adjustments and corrective traction where indicated, progressive rehabilitation, and progress examinations at set points. If it is not appropriate, we say so and point you to the right next step.

Why Greensburg
There is one office, and care there is personally provided by Dr. Bury: the consultation, the examination, the Patient Recommendation Conference and the care itself. What you get for the trip is a measured baseline and, if care is recommended, a plan built from it and checked against the same measurements.

Questions From Irwin Patients
Is there an Optimus office in Irwin?
No. The only office is at 593 Rugh Street in Greensburg. Visits are by appointment, parking is free and on site, and the entrance is step-free.
Should I bring X-rays or an MRI I already have?
Yes, if you can. Bring the report and, where possible, the images. Comparable prior imaging can reduce the need for new films, and a prior diagnosis tells us what has already been considered. New X-rays are taken only when clinically warranted.
Is this a second opinion?
It can work that way. The examination looks at structure and function and whether a measurable finding is contributing to your problem. It does not replace a medical diagnosis, and if your findings point to another kind of evaluation, we say so and help direct you to it.
