What the Trip Involves
Complimentary structural consultation
A private, 15-minute conversation with Dr. Bury about your concerns, your goals and previous care. It is not an examination, and nothing is booked beyond it unless you decide.
New Patient Structural Examination (the comprehensive structural examination)
A separate, paid service if an examination makes sense: orthopedic, neurological and functional testing, posture measured against reference values, and X-rays only when clinically warranted. The fee is explained before it is scheduled. When scheduling and clinical circumstances allow, it can follow the consultation on the same day.
Patient Recommendation Conference
The separate visit where your findings, our recommendations, the proposed plan and the fees are explained before you agree to anything.
Care and reassessment
If care is recommended and you choose to proceed: specific corrective adjustments and corrective traction where indicated, strengthening and movement education you continue at home, and progress examinations at set points.

Is there an Optimus office in Latrobe?
No. The only office is at 593 Rugh Street in Greensburg, and visits are by appointment. This page exists because people from Latrobe and the Ligonier Valley ask the same practical questions before deciding to make the trip.
Can I ask my questions by phone before traveling?
Yes. A brief complimentary phone conversation may be available for patients who want to discuss whether traveling for an in-person examination is appropriate. It does not replace a physical examination, establish a diagnosis, or include structural measurements.
Can the consultation and the examination happen on the same trip?
Sometimes. If the consultation finds an examination appropriate and the schedule allows, it can follow the same day; that is decided at the consultation, not promised in advance.
How many visits would I be looking at?
That cannot be answered before the examination. It depends on the findings, the plan and your participation, and it is reviewed at every progress examination. If structural correction is not appropriate for you, we say so at the consultation or after the examination.
